I just received my laser today and am pretty happy with it overall. I do find it hard to see the number setting in the adjustable tail cap, but aside from that I am pretty happy with it. The beam is VERY bright and the housing is quite solid. The laser had a mark inside the housing to show the battery orientation (for those who do not read the included instructions) and even the batteries were marked with a sharpie indicating polarity. Using proper laser goggles, I ran the laser for about 5 minutes on setting 5, to check for any abnormalities on the beam. The laser was placed on a table pointing at a fixed target approximately 10 feet away. I saw no visible changes in the spot of the beam. It came with a certification showing 366mW. I also found that Jack (the owner of Optotronics) was quite helpful and responsive to my shipping concerns. The only reason this does not get 10 stars is the number visibility on the adjustable tail cap. Anthony
